Dear Eastchester High School Families,

Welcome to the 2017-18 school year!  We hope that you had an enjoyable and
relaxing summer. As we start off the new school year, we hope that you will
consider being part of a group that is dedicated to education, advocacy, and
increased community awareness at Eastchester High School (EHS).

The EHS PTA wants to remind you that the PTA serves parents,
students, faculty and all those involved in our school community. It allows
parents/guardians to be involved in their child’s education and to advocate for
their children. Your membership and support of the EHS PTA enables the PTA to provide different activities, events and services to all the students in the
High School throughout the school year.  Some of these include, but are not limited to:

  • Student Seminar Day

  • Student planners

  • Student Mini Grants

  • Graduation Photos

  • Student Yearbook Signing BBQ

  • Community Service Awards

  • Teacher Mini Grants

  • The Fashion Show

  • Mini Courses, Guest Speakers at our PTA meetings, Guidance

  • Teachers Luncheon and Receptions at Various Events
    throughout the Year

We also, want to remind you that being a member gives you even

it allows you to participate in advocacy efforts throughout the District, gives you access to the EHS Student Directory and also to the EHS E-BLASTS which will provide you with important information throughout the school year.

Also, a member’s child is eligible for our PTA scholarships/grants and community service awards as seniors (please note that in order to be eligible for these awards, a parent/guardian must have been a member of the EHS PTA for all the years that student attended EHS).

We want to thank you in advance for your support and remind you that the Summer Mailing Forms were not mailed out this year, but can be found on the EHS website at These forms can be printed, completed and submitted to  the school as usual.
If you have any questions, concerns or even ideas you would like to share with us, please feel free to contact us at

We look forward to working with you and to a wonderful school year!

Diane Filiberti and Beth Ann Johnson
